Marketing Networks For the Commitment Shy

The great German bard Friedrich Schiller once strongly urged those contemplating marriage to test in depth the waters prior to forevermore pledge themselves to the other person. The same should be said of those in search of a marketing network. Oh, in the beginning the enthusiasm is high and with the infatuation that always accompanies that which is new and exciting, the odds of your doing everything you can to make it work are high. Yet a the newness fades, the thus far enterprising entrepreneur will realize that not all that glitters is gold and instead of striking it rich the time spent on growing the marketing network becomes less and less important and other things take over, until finally the network will lie dormant.

It is not uncommon for those involved in marketing networks to network hop; starting out with one multi level marketing opportunity, they will eventually discard it in favor of another opportunity, and so on. It goes without saying that these folks will spend a lot of time, energy, and also money chasing a success that in the end will elude them. While walking away from a business opportunity is acceptable when you have given it your all and just could not make it work to your satisfaction, the fact that so many take this step makes it evident that there are other factors in play.

Marketing networks, for the commitment shy, will never pay out to the extent that they hope, and by and large it is the amount of work that goes into the process that makes the entire idea daunting. Add to this the fact that ever new and more exciting business opportunities crop up – most of them offering to require far less time and effort than their predecessors – and you can quickly ascertain why business opportunities and down lines are abandoned for allegedly greener pastures. Even though some marketing networks are more labour intensive than others, the cold hard facts remain true: each and every successful marketing network will require work and getting rich overnight without it does not happen.

Once you understand that a marketing network will require long hours of hard work, you will also understand why you need to pick a good service you believe in. Since you will be spending a lot of time selling it to consumers and the concept to potential candidates for a down line, your failure to completely commit to the concept will be detrimental. Yet commitment is only something you will be able to offer to a marketing network if you can live with the concept. Therefore it is vital that prior to signing up you will investigate each and every aspect of a business opportunity before jumping in feet first. Do not worry about getting in on the ground floor, but instead consider why a cool product that will revolutionize whatever it claims to benefit cannot be found in stores. If you truly like the product and believe in it, then you will work a lot harder than if it leaves you cold.
